BS, TOS, CYA, FTW.......

[As posted to my little-used MySpace blog, therefore the early comments are about its relative uselessness :P.....later opinionations are precursored in this post.]

"Tonight we blog in Hell...!!!"

You know, I might post more actual content here if anyone ever responded to these things. As it is, all the real discussion goes on at the bloggier blogsites.....and me, I'm just staking out my turf so that no one can confuse me with anyone else. There can be only one Aureantes......well, and I really can't imagine there being more than one Kagen Aurencz Zethmayr. That'd be just ....creepy.

Even having multiple Zethmayrs at all is pretty creepy, ya know....../:)

So, just started one over at GreatestJournal as a placeholder for me, just in case I get so fed up with LJ (and/or enough of my friends do) that there's no way of carrying on decent communications or communities there. I mean, they are currently the wankiest bunch of wankers who ever wanked, just because they haven't the decency to provide clear and non-subjective standards of what's acceptable and what's not so that people can decide if they trust 'em or not.

I don't think anyone trusts them. Personally, I think that all TOSs are inherently bullshit and null and void, and that whoever can screw the system -- the
system, not other people -- is justified in doing so. There is no social contract that exists between people online and the corporate-owned software and systems that they happen to be transmitting themselves through...it's an illusion foisted and fostered by the human sense of guilt and fair play, when the players on the other end (the corporations) are simply not human and have no sense of fair play (much less guilt), and are merely legally CYAing and reserving all rights and privileges unto themselves with every transaction. They may be 'legal persons', but they are not human and they have no ability to enter into fair contracts, merely opportunistic ones. Like storing advertising cookies on your hard drive -- are you worried about breaking user agreements when you delete them? Is a cookie a sacred pact to you?

There's no such thing as a free lunch -- therefore steal your lunches as cleverly as possible. At least, that's my benignly anarchistic opinion.

They start censoring you, and I'll cry mutiny. Really loud. Right in their ear.
