So...here is the latest crinkle in the tapestry--though I must remind everyone that of course I have wings...I always have wings...>:)....just another kind of demon, mirabile dictu, and not excluding sexy beastyness atall, if a bit rarefied in my personal tastes.... If I'm too nice in my answers, I get "Fairy" as my type...but that of course is merely self-deception or really half-assed PR...I mean, I really oughta rate as an Archangel or something, don't you think?
C'mon...I'm sure someone here can imagine me flyin' around with a big old flaming sword....
Harpy:
Harpies are beautiful creatures with wings that are
said to have terrorized sailors. You are
slightly arrogant and vain but you probably
deserve to be. You are confident in your
abilities and know what you want to achieve in
life. Similar to vampires you will use almost
any means to get what you want. You have some
friends but you only hang around with people
who think like you do.

Haha....guess that's where the Pride and the Lust hang out together, eh...? Best of both worlds....>:) / >:)
I'll post something serious here again in awhile....I know, I still haven't gotten to my threatened rehash of the presidential elections...just so much material to choose from. I was just talking to an Iraqi (in Iraq, thanks for asking) last night...and believe me, it ain't parades of gratitude over there, not with the mess we've made--not that I was surprised to hear. Bad motivations, bad tactics, and unfortunately swift propaganda, to win us four more years of this crap. At least Nixon resigned when the truth came out, but Bush doesn't seem to even recognize deception and poltical leveraging to start a war to be....dubious at best. I personally call it treason against the nation itself, but who listens to me?
The elections were a war between the haves and the have-nots....those who have ethical consciences, and those who don't.
And if you ever need to be able to tell good from evil in the world of business and politics (and organized religion), here's a clue: Evil will always be either better-funded, government-encouraged/mandated, more efficient, or have the biggest buildings in its name. Not to mention higher mass loyalty and a micromanaging employee handbook.
Truly good deeds are always less efficient, technically...it's that whole idea of quality versus quantity, and of making an inventment without niggling over the returns. Crazy shite like that....
