Anyhow....no, I'm "planning" eventually to get wings there, and big ones, just not sure precisely what kind. White doesn't quite seem to suit me, unless with a very strong dose of irony...and I'm not quite unequivocally fallen enough for demon wings to define me, even though I think they're damn sexy.... Tending towards dark/peacocky colours--bronze, blue, rust, violet, indigo, gold, black...something like that. Anyhow, definitely plenty of time to plan/draw things out....

In case anyone's followed mention of me getting my ear pierced (or not), I'll just add that I now have a second piercing in my left ear -- right where my silver earcuff was trying to wear a very painful groove right through the cartilage. So I took it out night before last and switched ears (fits better on the right, though left's my elf ear), then took an old Thunderbird-and-feathers silver brooch and used the very long and thick pin of it to....

Yes, exactly. Heh--talk about me acting on impulse. Anyhow, it looks good, and rather subtly unexpected, to have it coming through at that point. I used to be quite adamant about definitely not wanting any extraneous holes in my body, but then I decided it was something I needed to do for myself so far as ritual and maturity. This is actually quite cool--looks really dangerous, 'increases sensitivity' in a good way, and furthermore means that I've got no reason atall to worry about tattooing being unduly painful. Good to know, considering I'm so damn ambitious when I set my mind on things....

Yeah, and damn stubborn to drive an antique brooch through my ear with just a few sprays of cologne for antiseptic. I have a habit of doing things....determinedly. Quietly, but determinedly.
