Ever get the feeling that all your best efforts to reach and intrigue and inspire and educate are just wasted hot air?  Not that I'm (I hope) so bad as this.....

Now, where are some good fictional templates for that.....?

I could certainly use to clarify my thoughts/interpretations on a lot of things, but this is a pretty direct challenge:

Verticle Oracle cardLibra (September 23-October 22)
It's the Power-Gathering Season for you, Libra. A good way to energize your efforts would be to define clearly and imaginatively what power means to you. I've got two riffs to get you started. First, here's one from a famous French ruler whose name I'll withhold so as not to distract you from the riff itself: "I love power. But it is as an artist that I love it. I love it as a musician loves his violin, to draw out its sounds and chords and harmonies." Here's the second definition, from poet Dennis Holt in his newsletter "Quincunx": "Power is what sends the woodpecker down from his tree to poke for worms in the muddy road one morning after all-night rain on a ridge above the Pacific within earshot of the surf."

Well, those who know me the best will understand why this has some definite purpose....

You scored as IV - The Emperor. The Emperor represents power. There is nothing subtle about this Tarot card. The Empress has power through love. The Emperor has power through power. He is in control, he is forceful and ambitious. Nothing will stop him. He is a natural leader, having either been born to the role or having disposed of all those who stood in his way. If well aspected in a Tarot spread this card can indicate success. It represents obstacles overcome, goals reached and ambition fulfilled. If badly aspected it can indicate either weakness or an abuse of power.

I was about to say, I haven't exactly disposed of anyone yet....and then I remembered the ginsus of unfailingly-arrogant logical argument -- not to mention the radical depopulation or demise of several RPGs. Killer instinct?--well, yes, especially when my Leo's riled up. But then.....historically, I was kinda known for this sorta thing....:-?
